How to Use this Applet

This applet is a calculator for simple binomial series expansions of the type (1 + ax) to the power of n, where a and n are fractions. You can investigate the first 5 terms of the series expansion.
On the screen you can change the numbers in the five boxes by clicking inside them and dragging left or right with your mouse or pointer. You can change numerators from -10 to 10, denominators from 1 to 10.
The program displays the series term-by-term, and you can look at different terms using the fifth changeable box labelled t, which varies from 1 to 5.
The calculations are shown for each term. You use the applet as a calculator, or just learn by looking at how binomial expansions work. Enjoy!
